Repeat prescription requests must be made in writing by one of the following methods:
- In person - hand your repeat slip in to reception (or a written note) having clearly indicated the items required.
- By post - send it to us with a stamped addressed envelope if you want us to post it back to you.
- Online - follow the link at the top of this page to complete a simple registration.
- Email - email@example.com
Please note requests cannot be made by telephone and the doctor will not give repeat prescriptions during consultation times, so please do not book an appointment with the doctor for your repeat prescriptions. If you require new medication or medication not on your repeat prescription list, you must make an appointment to see the doctor.
All patients with long standing repeat prescriptions will require a 6 month medication review meaning you need to make an appointment to see the doctor before any further prescriptions can be issued. The medication review is a chance to check that your medicines are not causing any side effects and for you to ask any questions you may have. For further info please ask for the repeat prescription information leaflet.
Please allow two full working days for prescriptions to be processed and remember to take weekends and bank holidays into account.
