Alzheimer’s society provides support for people affected by dementia. They provide a combination of face-to-face support within telephone and online advice and information by specially trained Dementia advisers.

This is a national helpline which is open seven days a week and they provide information, advice and emotional support to anyone affected by dementia.

Octavia Foundation- Befriending Service
The service is available to isolated and vulnerable adults aged 18 or above. Individuals are matched with a volunteer befriender who visits once a week for a minimum of six months. A befriender can visit in the person’s own home or provide the support needed to venture out.
